Narrative:
Nationally recognized in the field of radiology, Dr. Richard Duszak serves as Editor-in-Chief of the American Medical Association's Clinical Examples in Radiology publication and as Associate Editor of the Journal of the American College of Radiology. He previously served on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and the journal Radiology, and as co-chairman of an American College of Radiology (ACR) Expert Panel on Appropriateness Criteria. Author or co-author of over 70 publications, he lectures regularly on many topics in radiology and medical economics. He serves as Chairman of the ACR's Committee on Coding and Nomenclature, as CPT Advisor for the ACR, as a Director on the Radiology Coding Certification Board, and on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Radiological Society. He has served in numerous capacities as a consultant to the insurance industry and as an expert witness and litigation consultant to various parties in healthcare fraud cases, including defense, qui tam plaintiff, and the United States Department on Justice. A member of West Reading Radiology Associates since 1995, Dr. Duszak previously served as corporation President and a member of the group's Board of Directors.
